Pattern Maker (Maternity Cover)

About NN.07

NN.07 stands for No Nationality, and was founded in 2007. We are dedicated to reimagine timeless designs to create future classics. With the world as our playground and our source of inspiration, we are developing a consistent wardrobe with both simplicity and expressiveness.

The Role

You'll be at the centre of how our garments take shape - working from designer sketches, reference pictures and physical garments to develop patterns across all product categories, from initial concept through to finished production.

This isn't a role where you follow a brief and move on. We want you to bring your own eye to the work - questioning construction details, suggesting improvements to fit and quality, and pushing the making to where it should be. Your input matters here.

You'll be an integrated part of our product team, communicating directly with suppliers. A Design & Pattern Assistant supports the role. Regular travel to suppliers is part of the role.

This role is a fixed-term contract of 12 months, covering a period of maternity leave.

Responsibilities
  • Develop patterns and measurement specifications across all product categories, from initial concept to finished product

  • Manage and attend fittings, measuring proto through shipment samples and maintaining specs in tech packs

  • Advise proactively on fit, garment construction and making — working with product developers and designers to find the best technical solutions

  • Ensure sample quality and timely sign-off, collaborating with the product team on quality controls

  • Build and maintain direct relationships with suppliers, including through regular travel for development and production purpose

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years in a similar role, with experience across multiple product categories

  • A background in menswear, ideally within a quality-focused brand

  • A sharp eye for fit, construction and the kind of details most people walk past

  • Confident working in Gerber and with PLM systems

  • 3D pattern making experience is a genuine plus
