NN.07 is a strong and fast-growing international fashion brand, located in the heart of Copenhagen. NN.07 designs menswear for everyday use, with a focus on quality, details and true craftmanship. The company has established a strong position in the market, working with some of the leading retailers while also seeing significant success through its own retail and D2C channels. NN.07 is now looking for a Head of Design.


THE POSITION


We’re seeking a visionary yet commercially grounded design leader who embodies our design and brand values.


You will guide the design of NN.07 and define how our design language evolves. This role requires a designer who thrives in a team environment, contributes actively to shared exploration, and provides clear direction that brings structure, inspiration, and coherence to the collection.


You will translate cultural insights, craftsmanship, and modern lifestyle needs into refined essentials that feel both timeless and contemporary. With a strong dedication to fabric, fit, and detail, you will ensure the collections of NN.07 reflects commitment to longevity, premium quality, and subtle innovation.


Key Responsibilities


Creative Direction & Design Leadership

  • Lead and evolve the NN.07 design identity: timeless design, contemporary classics, modern relevance, elevated essentials.
  • Develop seasonal creative concepts anchored in our values: curiosity, dedication, craftsmanship, playfulness.
  • Ensure all collections reflect a refined aesthetic with thoughtful proportions, fabric choices, and subtle innovation.
  • Translate cultural insights, travel, art, craftsmanship, and global inspiration into modern menswear.

Product Excellence & Craft

  • Ensure collections balance core classics, refined evolutions, and selective seasonal expressions.
  • Uphold high standards of fit, fabrication, construction, and finishing across all categories.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing and Sales teams to ensure product integrity.
  • Conduct material research and build relationships with mills and suppliers.

Leadership & Culture

  • Provide clarity and design direction to product team.
  • Foster a collaborative, idea-driven environment.
  • Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning across the team.
  • Help build and refine design processes as the organization scales.

Digital Creative Workflow

  • Lead the transition to digital-first tools (e.g., Miro, Figma, digital material libraries).
  • Introduce modern design workflows that create clarity, accessibility, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through digital storytelling and process documentation.
  • Champion digital moodboarding, digital presentations, and digital product development tools (e.g., CLO3D).

Commercial & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on assortment planning, and long-term assortment strategy.
  • Translate customer insight, market feedback, and sales learnings into design decisions.
  • Participate in setting product calendars, workflow structure, and cross-team alignment.

Who You Are

  • A very experienced design leader in menswear design, ideally within premium contemporary,
  • or essentials-driven global brands.
  • Deeply connected to craft: fabrics, fit, finishing, construction.
  • A modern thinker: digitally skilled, open to new ways of working, structured in process.
  • A curious, culturally aware creative with a global perspective.
  • Commercially mature, understanding the balance between refinement and relevance.
  • A clear communicator with strong visual storytelling and presentation skills.
  • The role has no direct reports, though you are expected to act as a leader across- and elevate everyone around you.
